Martin Bissett is the founder of the Upward Spiral Partnership, the U.K. based consulting firm that specializes in the implementation of professional selling skills and leadership development for senior managers seeking to become partners in the accounting profession. He has worked with several hundred accounting firms internationally to grow their gross recurring fee bases. He transfers skills to accounting practices, via personal demonstration, training, mentoring and research content. The outcome of this work is new business for the practices, alongside the fine-tuning of teams of partners and emerging leaders who can create and close new opportunities for themselves.

Previously, Martin served 10 years as a director on the board of a marketing consultancy firm serving the accounting profession. There, he held the responsibility for the growth of the client base including six of the U.K.’s top 30 accountancy firms.

He is the author of ‘Winning Your First Client’, ‘Passport to Partnership’ and ‘Business Development On a Budget’ amongst 8 other titles.

Recently Martin has founded the Asp1ration Alliance, first online nano-learning platform for Accountants, which donates part of its revenues to assist in the nutrition, education and immunization of children in developing nations.
